How do I reach the apartments?
The nearest place to reach by car is Piazzale Roma, here you may find may car parks. If you arrive by train the train station is Venezia Santa Lucia.
To get to Tintoretto, Tiepolo and Altana Terrace apartments:
From Piazzale Roma or Venezia S. Lucia train station, you should take the vaporetto line 2 and get off at San Marco Vallaresso.
The exact address of the apartments is Corte San Zorzi 1078/1079 – Campo San Gallo, however, being a private courtyard, google maps cannot find it.
On google maps you can search for Calle San Gallo 1093 Venice. At this point you will find yourself in front of “Basara Milano” – sushi pastry shop – and a few steps away you will see the Sotoportego S. Zorzi, you enter the gate and at number 1078/1079 you will find the apartments.
To get to San Samuele apartment:
From Piazzale Roma or Venezia S. Lucia train station, take vaporetto line 2 and get off at San Samuele.
The address is Campo San Samuele 3209 – Salizzada Malipiero, a few meters away from the vaporetto stop.
To get to La Fenice apartment:
From Piazzale Roma or Venezia S. Lucia train station, take vaporetto line 2 and get off at San Marco Vallaresso.
The exact address of the apartment is Sestriere San Marco 1879, but it is difficult to find on google maps.
So you should get to Calle Barcaroli, where it makes the corner with the “Alfier shop”, then turn towards Calle Minelli, go all the way to the end of the street and turn right at number 1879.
Why should I inform you of my means of transport?
Since we are aware of the fact that Venice is a very difficult city to understand and very dispersive, we always personally accompany our guests to their apartments, for this reason there will be a person to welcome you at the vaporetto stop. Knowing what means of transport you will arrive with facilitates our organization and allows us to welcome you to the best of our ability.
Are there any particular rules for the city of Venice?
In the histroic centre of Venice and in the islands, waste is collected in a differentiated way according to this calendar:
Paper – Cartons – Cardboard – Tetra Pack
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Plastic – Glass – Cans – Metal
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
Resdiual Waste
Every day (from Monday to Saturday)
The bags of the residue and of the sorting of the day must be brought, following the collection schedule above, to one of the Veritas boats moored between 6.30 and 8.30 at the various collection points. Alternatively it is possible to wait for the garbage collector to ring the bell at home, roughly between 8.30 and 12.30.
We thank you for your help.
